Alright so I am just going to keep this short since it's the first one and really don't have much to say right now.
2009 means a new beginning for many and a chance for New Year's Resolutions. I usually make about 10 or so which may be a lot more than most but I see nothing wrong with having that many. I almost always keep mine and included on my list this year is running my first 1/2 marathon. I have to start training next Monday and will probably use the blog to keep training up-to-date. The 1/2 Marathon is the Country Music Marathon, or CMM for short. It is in Nashville, TN on April 25 of this year and you can find out more information by visiting their website: http://www.cmmarathon.com/home.html. I am pretty pumped up about it and training is going to be very intense so we'll see how that goes. With the 1/2 Marathon and School, the first quarter of 2009 for me should be fairly busy, but I am looking forward to seeing what 2009 has to offer.
As I said, I will keep it short and simple this time. I am going to end all of my blogs with a random quote or scripture and I cannot think of one more fitting given my training than the following so let's start that tradition now shall we...
"I hated every minute of training, but I said, 'Don't quit. Suffer now and live the rest of your life as a champion'". -Muhammad Ali
